Just a few minutes from the center of Murmansk, there is a quiet bay where you will don a special hydrothermal suit and boldly step into the water after a briefing. The suit will reliably protect you from moisture and cold, and you will lie on the water's surface among the ice floes like an astronaut. The first seconds take your breath away: pieces of ice float around you, the sky and polar air are above, and you are gliding as if on an invisible surface. Inside the suit, it is warm and dry; outside, it is freezing and Arctic water, but you do not feel it. Ice floating allows you to experience the true Arctic with your whole body, without risking your health. The instructor will be with you throughout the process. In the silence of a winter day, time seems to stand still. You look up – clouds float above you or stars twinkle, or perhaps the green flashes of the northern lights ignite.
