Sea Tour of Kola Bay
A Kola Bay boat tour offers a completely different perspective on Murmansk — the views from the water reveal panoramas that cannot be appreciated from the shore. The Kola Bay is the heart of Murmansk, its main transport artery and the source of its life. The tour takes place on a comfortable Finnish boat with a heated cabin, soft seats, and a restroom. The boat is fully equipped for a comfortable journey, and the deck is open for photography in any weather. During the tour you will see the Marine Station, the fishing and commercial ports, and vessels of all types — from small fishing boats to enormous nuclear icebreakers. The Rosatom nuclear fleet base is one of the most impressive sights along the route. From the water, you can also see the hills surrounding the bay and the city districts stretching along both shores. The tour lasts one hour and stays within the bay without going out to the open sea. It is an excellent introduction to the city, especially when combined with a Murmansk city tour. Two boat sizes are available: small (up to 7 people) and large (up to 11 people). The tour is suitable for adults and children, as well as small groups and solo travelers.
